Junior:
Classes I & II
- Classes I & II will have a continuous assessment system and the Final results shall be based on this assessment done throughout the year.
- The assessment shall be done on a scale of 8 and expressed in terms of grades viz. A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1 and D2.
- There will be 8 assessments spread over the entire session.
- The areas to be assessed would be
- Through Oral activities (Interaction in class, communication skills, quiz activities, projects, practical knowledge etc.).
Note: Classes will have only Oral Assessments in Computer Science, General Knowledge and Value Education.
- Through Written Assessments
- Objective Part: For all subjects like Mathematics, English, Hindi, E.V.S. objective part shall comprise of Fill in the Blanks, Match the Following, True/False Statements, Short Communication Skills, Sequencing, etc.
- Subjective Part: (As per subjects indicated above) Written assessment on worksheets involving sentence formation, organizing one line/ two-three line answers for given questions based on their understanding of the given portion.

Senior: Classes III – XII
- Examination will be conducted according to a two-term schedule (April to September 2009 and October 2009 to March 2010) and the end of term promotion results shall be based on the assessments done throughout the year. .
- In each term there would be 3 cycles of Class tests (of 25 marks each) for each subject, out of which best of 2 will be taken into account for the Term-End assessment.
- Please note that these Class Tests will be conducted on every Tuesday (or Wednesday, in case Tuesday is a holiday) in the scheduled period.
- The Half yearly Examination (of 75 marks per subject) would be conducted in September 2009 and the Annual Examination (of 75 marks per subject) would be conducted in March 2010 (as per the given schedule).
- No retests will be conducted for absence on any ground. However, students on being absent due to medical reasons or due to participation in inter-school competitions shall be awarded marks in proportion to marks scored in other tests.
- Notebooks’ maintenance, Projects & Assignments given to the children need to be taken seriously as 25 marks would be allotted per term to these (10 marks for Projects, 10 marks for Assignments and 5 marks for Notebooks’ maintenance).
- Each term marks would total up to 150 per subject.
- For classes X and XII, two Pre-Boards will be conducted in the month of November/December 2009 and January 2010 respectively (as per given schedule).
- For Class XI, there would only be 2 cycles of Class tests in each term for each subject (of 25 marks each); both tests would be taken into account for the Term- End assessment.
