At Indirapuram Public School, we recognize that art and culture are essential for nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of identity among our students. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, our curriculum emphasizes art integration as a key pedagogical tool, making learning more holistic, engaging, and meaningful.

From pre-primary to class 5, all students participate in art and craft classes, where they explore a variety of artistic techniques and materials. These early experiences foster imagination, self-expression, and hands-on learning. From class 6 onwards, students can select specialized art and culture modules based on their interests, allowing them to develop their talents and deepen their appreciation for the arts.

Art integration is woven throughout our academic program, connecting subjects such as mathematics, science, and social studies with creative projects and activities. This approach not only enhances understanding but also encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation—skills that are vital for success in the 21st century.

As students progress to class 11, they have the opportunity to pursue specialized fields such as designing and commercial arts. These advanced courses provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for higher education and diverse career opportunities in creative industries. By engaging in real-world projects and portfolio development, students gain confidence and a competitive edge for future academic and professional pursuits.

Our school community celebrates India’s rich cultural heritage through special assemblies and festivals. Whether it’s Holi, Diwali, Guru Purab, Eid, Christmas, or other important occasions, students from all backgrounds come together to perform, share stories, and honour traditions. These vibrant events foster unity, respect, and a sense of belonging, while also providing valuable opportunities to learn about our diverse heritage.
